X Hiller Virtual Invention Lab

Explore the stars at the Hiller Aviation Museum Tuesday-Thursday!  The Virtual Invention Lab provides a fun remote discovery experience featuring a special presentation by Hiller Aviation Museum staff members, construction of a hands-on project that can be built at home from everyday office supplies, and a virtual tour of an artifact on display at the Hiller Aviation Museum.  The Week of the Family program explores the space exploration as participants build a paper star wheel and learn to use it to find the shining constellations of winter in the January night sky.  Each session concludes with an examination of the Hiller Aviation Museum’s SpaceShipOne replica!

No registration is necessary, but participants will need to print out the star wheel template in advance and will need scissors to build the project.  Visit the Virtual Invention Lab page to download the handout and find the Zoom link for each session.
